At Strange Love Coffee we believe in delivering great coffee to coffee lovers without being standoffish. Toronto’s Yelp community has ranked us as a top 3 spot for coffee shops.

We are a multi-roaster bar focusing on making specialty coffee accessible to the crowds.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who's willing to help us create a friendly vibe with focus on killer customer service.

What we offer:

Exciting and vibrant coffee program that is seasonal, variety-focused and always evolving.

Constant improvement - training with award winning baristas, coffee subscriptions, regular cuppings, industry guests, - we never stop learning.

Growth and development- additional roles and ways to nurture your potential. Be it a dream to one day own your own cafe, work on your culinary skills, or experiment with marketing & event coordination. We believe in growing our team.

What you bring:

Previous experience in a successful espresso bar an asset - basic understanding of brew recipes, coffee character and development.

Thirst for learning and innovation and ability to stay curious about the coffee industry a must.

Team player and a positive outlook are key - we are in the business of making people happy and being excited about coming back.

Equally as important, is having a professional, upbeat attitude.

This is a customer service position first and being able to communicate effectively in English is a must. It also doesn't hurt to have a couple of other ways to say "Hello!" under your belt. This is Toronto after all.

If this sounds like you, please send your resume to info@strangelovecoffee.com - and include your top 3 favourite roasters!
